Hello Everybody!
We are working hard around here, but I did get a chance to clean up and organize a bit of the garage. I am pretty sure when I walked in there, I could hear the voices of a thousand little projects saying "Pick me, pick me!". See, I have this problem... when something breaks I don't look at it as 100% broken, I think of it as still 75% good. This tends to fill up a few boxes here and there. So, I periodically pick through and see if I have acquired anything that would bring a project or two together... and when that's done, I try to repack things even better until next time. I also work hard on my "acquisition to throw away ratio"... sometimes those three-legged stools just have to go... to make room for a chainsaw that only runs wide open and a 12" Gandalf the White action figure that's missing his staff and sword.... both 75% good.
Maybe some readers out there have the same affliction... maybe we could start a support group or something. I have a few members in mind already. Not that this has anything to do with the present subject, but I got a text from my Mom the other day exclaiming, "Found the Commodore 64 while cleaning the shop"... the Commodore 64 computer came out in 1982. I'm not speculating the connection could be hereditary, but maybe our support group can do a study or something...? So here's the "before" garage picture. Next issue I'll share the "after".... keep your fingers crossed!
Thanks for reading the issue,of Tidbits of the Lake Area, Lynette and I appreciate it very much! Watch out for those school kids, and we'll see you next issue!!
